Hello everyone, I am Xiaozhi. We’re at the Fifth People's Hospital of Sichuan Province today to show you the clinical trial site of LANGZHI, and learn how the clinical trial work of smart health products is carried out.

Fifth People’s Hospital of Sichuan Province is the only provincial geriatric hospital in Sichuan Province, and is also the Geriatric Medical Centre of West China Hospital, which is the authority in the field of geriatric treatment in the whole southwest region. The product that we are currently testing on is mainly for the majority of middle-aged or elderly people and patients with heart disease. It is closely related to the cardio health, thus, our test base was selected in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Fifth People’s Hospital of Sichuan Province.

Walking through the bright and spacious aisle of the ward, we have arrived at our test ward. In this room, you can see various equipment for clinical testing. The Digital Care Pad involved in this test can collect vital signs data such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and other related vital data through a non-contact method. In order to ensure the accuracy of the data collected by the product, it needs to do a lot of clinical test work. The test product will collect data simultaneously with the ECG monitor and holter provided by the hospital. Data collected are then compared between these 2 methods so as to continuously optimise the product and improve its collection accuracy.

Our test case today is an elderly person suffering from sinus arrhythmia, who will be using both our Digital Care Pad and the ECG monitor provided by the hospital for data collection. This clinical testing work has received great co-operation from the elderly patients, Xiaozhi would like to express our greatest gratitudes to them and wish all the patients a speedy recovery.

  We will start by putting an ECG monitor on the elderly, and after attaching electrode pads, we will be able to collect ECG information from the elderly.

  As our Digital Care Pad does not need to be worn (as it is contactless), all elderly people can have their heart rate and respiratory data collected in real time once they lie on the Digital Care Pad.

  15 minutes later, we were done with the data collection. Meanwhile, the doctor will monitor the changes in the data collected by the two devices in real time to ensure that the collection is correct and the data is stable. In the same evening, the elderly will also wear the holter device and use our Digital Care Pad for testing throughout the whole night.

We have been conducting more than ten such tests every day for nearly six months, and have collected data from nearly 3,000 patients. Each patient's data will be fed into the data centre and analysed and compared using A.I. techniques, providing a large amount of information for the continued optimisation of the product.

Not to hype concepts, not to sell gimmicks, to put our feet on the ground into doing practical work, to provide the majority of the elderly, heart patients with accurate, practical and useful products, is the inner adherence of every LANGZHI people. Currently, the R&D of this non-contact product is in steady progress, and it is expected to be launched to the market after the Spring Festival, so you can look forward to this product.
